New Shoes

Picked up some new shoes for the racecar today!

Two sets of bronze original design TE37’s (15×8, 32 offset):

I have a serious TE addiction and I forgot to take my medicine today.
On the upside I can now test the white 15×7.5 vs. 15×8 (both with 225 NT01) at Laguna Seca next weekend!
A quick test fit…

For those that don’t follow me on Instagram or Facebook, here’s some initial test fitment pictures of the new 15×8 +32 offset TE37’s w/ 225x45x15 NT01’s. I’ll be testing both the bronze and white wheels at Laguna Seca this Saturday (rain permitting).

For reference, the old white wheels are 15×7.5 +43 offset TE37’s w/ 225x45x15 NT01’s.

Note: The front wheels stick out approx. 6.38mm more than normal because the car runs custom extra thick rotor hats. I spoke with Hein yesterday and he said they designed the rotor hats to get the wheels to clear the calipers on the first batch of 15×7 SSR’s Type C’s that came in a +43 offset. The latter runs came in a +32 offset which cleared the calipers fine, however, for some reason the car currently has the thicker hats installed and the thinner versions are missing. Hein is going to look around and hopefully send me some thinner versions that should pull the wheel in around 6mm more.
